A’s for the Q’s.

I’m neurodivergent and often feel sensory overwhelm.

First- same.
Second, most importantly- I will be flexible to meet your needs. Options available for session:

  • low lighting

  • no expectations for eye contact

  • bucket of fidgets

  • blankets, a weighted blanket, and a couch if you’d like to lay down

  • coloring pages to keep some order while we talk about the big stuff

  • notepads for scribbling notes of things to remember

  • drinks (water, tea, hot cocoa, and coffee)

  • snacks (often fruit snacks, granola bars, fruit leather, pretzels, trail mix)

Please show up how you need to for our time together- I will meet you where you’re at.

Do you provide therapy for children?

Currently- no.
I began my career working with children, including ages 0-5, which I loved. Over the years, I have learned that kids do better when their adults are getting what they need, so my practice focus now is meeting with ages 14+, including many caregivers, co-parents, couples, and families.

Can we meet virtually while I’m on vacation?

Your two feet need to be in Minnesota during virtual sessions.
Unfortunately I cannot hold sessions with folks who are living and/or visiting outside of Minnesota during session time.

I’m anxious- what is the bathroom situation like?

In suite 200, we have a single room unisex bathroom for client use. If you have other worries or questions about the space, please reach out so I can ease your mind.

Is your office wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our parking lot has an accessible parking spot and curb cuts. Unfortunately, the front door does not have an auto-open button, however we have wide doorways/hallways inside and an accessible one room bathroom. Please reach out if I can be of assistance to make your visits comfortable.
